Greatest of Greats [Mani]

Alexander the Great.
Good or Bad? Nice or Mean? Peaceful or Ruthless?
We have so many question about this man yet all we know is stories written 50 years after his death!

Alexander was born around 356 B.C.E. He was trained by the philosopher Aristotle himself in the arts of politics, sports, and warfare. When he became king he launched an attack that Persia would have never saw coming. If you don’t think that Alexander was great then what are you thinking! Look, he has conquered 2,000,000 million sq. miles in 11 years and kept it together for 10 years1. Even Historian Michael Wood says “Long ago, before the days of Islam, Sikaner e Aazem came to India. The Two Horned One whom you british people call Alexander the Great.  He conquered the world, and was a very great man, brave and dauntless, and generous to his followers.”

You need to do a huge achievement to be known as great. Alexander’s achievement was conquering Persia and that was the biggest empire at the time. He also went to India and conquered some parts of it, and India had elephants! In all Alexander shouldn’t be considered great, he should be Alexander the Greatest of Greats.
