Did Alexander really deserve the Great? [Nihal]

Alexander the III of Macedonia, was he really the superb emperor everyone thinks he is? The widespread belief is that he was a brilliant, bold, and kind emperor to his followers. But, what was he really?! Historians can’t agree if he left a dark footprint or a shining legacy. However, there is a growing amount of information that reveals his true colors as being uncaring, cruel, and unbelievably superstitious. And don’t even mention the amount of cities he named after himself.
His empire actually started when
(A) his father, Phillip the II wanted to rule the world
(B) he saw that the Greeks were weak from years of fighting themselves
(Peloponnesian Wars).
Next thing you know, 20-year-old Alexander is left in charge of a considerable amount of land as well as some feisty Greeks and his father murdered.(He always wanted to lead the empire anyway) What happens next is obvious, he goes on a 12-year conquest of Persia, one of the greatest empires in the world, with a mixed Greek and Macedonian army.
Alexander was unfathomably cruel to those who resisted him. He would often burn towns to the ground and enslave any survivors to make an example to other towns that he could burn anything, anytime. He did found about 70 cities..but then messed it up by naming most of them Alexandria. (He had a proud opinion of himself, as well as thinking of himself as a god) One city named Tyre, stayed at siege for 9 months and cost Alexander a great deal of soldiers, so when he finally took control, he did the right thing and congratulated them on their bravery  burned all of Tyre till only rocks remained and crucified 90% of survivors then sold everyone else as slaves. Tyre’s bitter rivals were so horrified, they smuggled Tyrians to safety. Another time, Alexander’s crown flew away and a loyal soldier went and go it. Alexander thanked him… and then cut off his head because the oracles had said no one should touch his crown ‘just to be safe’. These are not things your average awesome emperor does.
If you aren’t on Team BAD Alexander by now, you’re probably biased and need to WAKE UP and read the facts! In just 4 battles, the enemy and civilian casualties were over 100,000! That’s more people than in your entire city (unless you live in Tokyo or some other supercity). He forced people to accept him as a god for goodness sake! Needless to say, his empire lasted about ten years after his death. In fact, he was so conquery that he stopped his conquest not because of an enemy, but by his own tired soldiers who refused to go any farther. (even Spartans!) After this barrage of facts, you are thoroughly convinced to dispose of any lingering doubt that he was a OK king.
Alexander the cruel, the superstitious, the uncaring.
