Was Alexander Worthy of His Title? [Christina]

Alexander the Great achieved many things, like conquering an empire at such a young age. During his childhood, his parents got a philosopher, Aristotle, who trained him mentally as well as physically. Alexander thought of himself as a god. During Alexander’s boyhood, his father King Philip went to conquer neighboring Greek city states. King Philip used his army and the Macedonian phalanx. He then shot for the Persian Empire. Alexander’s father was assassinated in 336 BCE and Alexander took over the throne at the age of 20. 1Image result for alexander the great empireImage result for Image of macedonian phalanx

Alexander is great because he conquered about 2,000,000 million square miles of land. 2,000,000 square miles guys!2 He conquered 44% of the world!3

Some words to describe Alexander:
~awesome
~generous
~brave
~good leader

Another reason I have decided he was great is because he was a good leader. He thought of himself equal to his men. According to the “The Legend of the Helmet” by Lucius Flavius Arrianus:

“Alexander, like everyone else, was tormented by thirst, but he was nonetheless marching on foot at the head of his men.”

Also, according to Kasi Khushnawaz:

“He (Alexander) conquered the world, and was a very great man, brave and dauntless and generous to his followers.”
