Obviously, Alexander the Great was a great guy. In the form of a letter, here are my opinions and feelings towards him..

Dear Alexander the Great:
I wish I would see you in your full glory. You are:
-Amazing
-Brave
-Dauntless
-Generous
-Strong
-Smart

Alexander the Great founded 70 cities, which is more modern-day cities that I can ever remember. I only know about 25, and those are the big ones most people know. Alexander’s accomplishments let him be portrayed on the Roman Emperor Marcus Macrinus’s clothing for 540 years. That’s more than half of a millennium (one thousand years)! At the young age of 20, he inherited the kingdom of Macedonia. When I am that age, I will complain about work I have to do in college. You spent 11 years to build your empire, and before you died, your empire was 2,000,000 sq. miles.

Along with all of that, when crossing a desert, even though a soldier gave you all of the little water they had found in a helmet for you to drink, you poured it all down on the ground in front of all of your troops.
According to “The Legend of the Helmet” by Lucius Flavius Arrianus:

“So extraordinary was the effect of this action that the water wasted by Alexander was as good as a drink for every man in his army.”

So really, how could people think that Alexander the Great was NOT a great guy? It is literally in his name!
