Would you think that somebody is a bad person if he really cared about their army, he led an army to defeat the Persian Empire, and he outsmarts his enemy? No of course not. If you thought that he is a bad person, think again.
Why is Alexander an amazing person?
Alexander is known for being great because he was really thoughtful about his army. According to the ‘’Legend of the Helmet’’ when the army was crossing the desert of sand they were struggling on the need of reaching water, which was still out of their reach. Alexander, like everyone else, need water and was in the same position as the rest of his men. After a long walk without water they finally found the water.When the army put the water in the helmet, they only got some for Alexander, and guess what he did. He dumped it on the ground to be equal with everybody else in the army. He didn’t want to be the only one that got it, otherwise he would feel terrible about himself. I got emotional when I read this because not many people in the
world would be as thoughtful as him.
Another reason why Alexander the Great is known for being great is because he was a great military leader and he was able to conquer all of the Persian Empire.
Do you think you can be unbeatable for 15 years? I think only great military leaders can. Alexander the great conquered all of the Persian Empire because of his amazing military leader skills. He managed to conquer the Persian Empire in the matter of 3 years. That may sound bad, but for a 20 year old it’s pretty good. For leading an entire army at 20 years old, conquering the entire Persian Empire, that is what you call a ‘’great’’ person.
Alexander the Great is also very smart. He got passed an ambush and outsmarted the elephants he went against.
Alexander the Great and his army pitched a camp at the bank of Hydaspes. The Porus with his whole army and his force of elephants attack Alexander and his army. Alexander saw this and he decided to move all of his troops in different directions so that Porus would be confused. The elephants would move to the shouting and Alexander got them into the habit of making them move towards the sound. He got the elephants tired and the men got trampled underneath the elephants. He basically used the other teams army to take down his enemies. That’s a really smart idea. Being smart does make you a smart person and I felt like as if that was a really good idea.
Alexander the Great is an amazing person and I hope you realize it. He has done so much for the Persian Empire.
