Alexander was not great, he was AWESOME! I mean really, that guy was one of the only people to come even close to ruling the world. He ruled about half of it, which by the way is 1about 2,000,000 square miles!!! That is A LOT of land to be ruling before the age of 33. Along with that Alexander was a genius, he had brilliant ideas when it came to his military or politics. We still use some of his ideas today.
Why are we doubting that he was great? Because he killed a few people? He offered to let the surrender first and then started a war if they refused to surrender. And if killing a few people in war made people not great then every brilliant politician and soldier we ever had in ancient history is evil. Really if you just think about every king, adviser, and soldier we ever had in ancient history is a killer in history.2
Julius Caesar wept over Alexander, overcome by the fact that someone could achive sooo much at such a young age. If Julius Caesar thought Alexander deserved his respect then why do we doubt it.
