Alexander, oh, Alexander. All I hear about this dude is that he’s so great ,or is he? From all the evidence I have gathered up, he seems to live up to his name. From taking down the Persian Empire1 all the way to conquering 2,000,000 square miles in a mere 11 years.2
It is no wonder why and how he earned the title “Alexander The Great”.
If you guys don’t think he’s great just click out. No. Please don’t click out. I’m begging. I’ll change your mind and you’ll think he’s great after this. Seriously though guys, he conquered 2,000,000 square miles of land! 2,000,000 square miles is a lot! Like, I mean a lot! That much land in 11 years is amazing. That’s like half the size of the US in barely 3% of the time it’s been a country!
It is not just his boss conquering skills that made him “Great”. His main goals were to spread Greek culture.1 Well… culture in general.
It is crazy how long the Hellenistic period, the time after Alexander when Greek culture spread, lasted. It lasted for a whopping 300 years!2 Our country has barely been around for that long! WOW! Alexander’s legacy so far is crazier than when Felix Baumgartner jumped from space! You may think this is crazy, but how he affected the whole eastern world is crazier. He influenced Jordan so much that Greek was their official language for 1000 years!2 “Still some of our [Kalish] words are the same as theirs, our music and our dances too; we worship the same Gods.”3 Alexander’s legacy has affected culture all around the eastern world

Alexander, oh, Alexander. He was such a kind fellow from Macedonia. He brought so many great and kind things such as, defeating the Persian Empire and Uniting Greece1. His kind nature greatly helped with conquering and spreading culture. He treated cities that surrendered so nicely1. He also helped spread culture and accepted other cultures. ”So extraordinary was the effect of this action that the water wasted by Alexander was as good as a drink for every man in the army.”4 Alexander was a very caring and loving leader.
