Alexander the Great might not be so Great [Ziola]

Alexander, was he really that grape? I-I mean great. Now, we've all heard of Alexander the Great, but he and his greatness always been a very debateable topic. Personally I think Alexander was bad news. Here's an excerpt from a story I read about him, showing how truly vain and bad he was.“Then he ordered his [the sailors] head to be cut off [because] the prophets had worn the royal head band to be safe.” [Alexander the Great Man and God by: Ian Worthington]

Personally, I feel as though that makes him look like an evil, vain man; far from “great”. And again, shown in Peter Green's; Alexander of Macedon. It had said that Alexander's soldiers went on a manhunt under Alexander's orders! He had also said to slay everyone except those who sought sanctuary, or safety in the temple! It hadn't even included his reason, and I'm almost certain he didn't have one. Andddddd… all the others that weren't slain were sold to slavery! Man, how could this guy sleep at night???? I couldn't, knowing how vain I was and that I killed people, daily! Oh, and did I mention he got a picture of himself embroidered into his chest of his armor!? Yup, couldn't be less vain :(. He was also very hypocritical. In the Legend of the Helmet* he had dumped out the water his troops had found for him in the middle of nowhere in a desert. Instead of drinking it he dumped it out to show that they were equal and he didn't deserve it anymore than they did!! Then, in the Hat and the Band* he cut the head off of a man who had worn the royal hat band because he went to go “rescue” it from the water without it getting wet while swimming back. And you want to know why??? Because the man wasn't ROYAL enough! What the heck Alexander????

Now do you see or at least understand how evil, bad, vain, and hypocritical Alexander was?? He was far from great… very very far.
